THREE EMBELLISHED MONGOLIAN SILVER SNUFF BOTTLES
1800-1900
The first of cylindrical shape, with archaistic dragons in a celestial
landscape chasing a pearl, in this case a inset turquoise bead; the
second of baluster shape, the body with chased and incised design
of floral sprays centered by four blossoms formed by inset coral and
turquoise beads, with filigree ruyi lappets at the shoulder and the foot;
the third bottle of compressed ovoid form, fixed ring mask handles to
the sides, a coral bead centered by stylized dragons on the front and
back, with lotus petals inset with alternating turquoise and coral beads
ringing the foot, each of the three bottles with a corresponding stopper
also inset with coral and/or turquoise.

A PINK GLASS GREEN-OVERLAY SNUFF BOTTLE
1820-1900
Of flattened pear shape with a flat lip and oval foot rim surrounding a
convex base, the opaque pink glass ground with a lime green overlay
carved as a squirrel and grape on one face, reversed by a mantis on a
pea vine, with fixed ring handles on the on the shoulders.

AN AMBER SNUFF BOTTLE
1770-1830
Of compressed ovoid form, the bottle with a flat lip and supported by
an oval foot rim around a convex foot, the deep honey colored amber
carved into a continuous scene, one face with a female immortal
holding a giant peach with a lingzhi sprouting from a rock, reversed by
bamboo and blossoming branches.
