南 AN INCISED QINGBAI FOLIATE-RIM BOWL 南宋 青白釉划花花口盌
宋 SOUTHERN SONG DYNASTY (1127-1279)

The bowl is thinly potted with faring sides rising to a slightly
青 everted rim cut with six notches. The interior is freely carved with
白 three geese swimming between three lotus blossoms, and the bowl
磁 is covered inside and out with a pale blue glaze which pools to a
deeper color in the recesses. The base is unglazed and burnt orange-
花 brown in the fring.
