A nephrite toggle of a boy and drum
17th/18th century
Vividly portrayed as a joyful boy kneeling to the side of a large drum with
beaded edges, his left hand holding a drumstick; the russet stone with a
slight yellow tinge, marked with deeper color inclusions and fissure veins.

A small jade box and spoon
Late Qing dynasty
The vessel of rectangular section with indented corners and raised upon
four short feet, carved in stone of gray green hue with notable veins of
russet colored inclusions; the spoon of gently sloping concave pear
shape terminating in a ruyi scepter-shaped handle, carved in stone of
dark gray green hue mottled with icy inclusions and minute black flecks.
