Two reticulated white jade plaques
Qing dynasty
The first of open fan shape, deeply undercut and incised to one side
as two dragons swimming in waves beneath a Daoist paradise palace,
the reverse polished to a flat surface and mounted with a gold metal
loop for suspension; the second, of thinly sectioned circular shape,
deeply undercut and incised to both sides with symbols of the Eight
Immortals surrounding a xuangxi-character, now mounted upside-
down in a gold metal key-fret frame with suspension loop.
