A greenish-white nephrite ruyi scepter
19th century
The beveled curving long shaft carved with five bats and cloud scrolls,
supporting a slightly convex head with raised borders, enclosing a
scene of two boys at a rocky garden, one holding a ruyi scepter, the
other carrying a vase containing a leafy lotus flower, with a swooping
bird near a pine tree; the pale celadon-hued stone with faint grayish
and light color inclusions.
