Two carved white jade belt accessories
18th/19th century
The first a two-section belt buckle with a lingzhi form hook, each
segment with a circular shou character flanked by a bat; the second
a white and russet jade toggle of a climbing chilong on a large lingzhi
fungus.

An archaistic jade pendant
17th/18th century
Carved to both sides as a crested bird’s head and neck issuing from
the left side of a circular disk reticulated with a design of overlapping
flower petals, the right side fashioned as a faceted gui scepter with
reticulated side loops, the off-white stone marked with russet patches
on one side and icy white inclusions.

Two jade carvings of cats
Qing dynasty
Both pebbles of flattened oval form: the first of off-white hue with a
russet patch at the base that forms part of the bushy tail textured with
delicate incised lines on one of the two felines; the second pebble of
‘salt and pepper’ type with one cat carved from the mottled charcoal
vein and the other cat displaying cloudy white inclusions in the the
pale grayish-white vein.

A carved rock crystal plaque
Tang dynasty
The thick square-sectioned plaque incised and carved in relief with a
depiction of a female musician wearing a long flowing shawl, seated
on a mat playing cymbals, her legs crossed to the front, her delicate
face rendered with incised lines; the nearly perfectly clear stone with
tiny dark specks.
