A white jade landscape boulder with the ‘Three Friends of Winter’- pine, bamboo, and plum flowers,
Qing dynasty, 18th/19th century and two deer-like animals crossing arched platforms above wave
Of horizontal format, presented as foliage splashed craggy mountain, scrolls, all against a finely worked key-fret ground; the evenly-hued
one side further detailed with a gnarled pine rising from the rocky band white stone well-polished to an attractive luster.
along a river, with two bats in flight under the clouds-surrounded sun; 2 x 2 15/16in (5 x 7.5cm)
the white stone of a faint grayish tone, with rich russet markings to $3,000 - 5,000
prominent areas.
