A finely carved white jade wrist rest
Late 19th/Early 20th century
Of gently arched profile with scrolling sides, the finial carved as a
dragon with recumbent head and split tail, skillfully worked to the
convex side in rounded relief depicting a rooster atop a rock next to
bamboo, morning glory blossoms, and lingzhi fungus, reversed with
an energetic tiger in a cloud- enclosed mountainous setting beneath a
gnarled pine tree issuing from a cliff; the soft-hued white stone marked
with russet and cloud-like inclusions.

A yellow jade carving of a Buddha’s hand citron
18th/19th century
The ripe fruit supported on a gnarled root base with lingzhi fungus and
leaves forming a crown under the elegant finger-like segments, the
stone a rich variegated yellow tone.
