Designed as two parrots perched on the woody stem or at the edge
of a plum flower with hollowed petals serving the shallow dishes, the
feathers of the birds well rendered with incised lines; the grayish-white
stone with white flecks and russet inclusions.

Carved as a squirrel feeding on a cluster of grapes, the russet
skin utilized as the leaves of the vines in sharp contrast to the pale
white stone.
