An unusual white jade Buddhist amulet
Qing dynasty
Carved as a Guanyin in layered flowing robes, her hands held to the
front holding a string of rosary beads, standing upon a circular lotus
pedestal, with a possibly matched cylindrical housing decorated with
a band of carefully incised key-fret patterns and finely carved layers
of ‘brocade’ to the top below flower-heads separated by a raised
cross suspending ribbons, with circular openings carved to allow
a string attachment; the mostly white stone displaying grayish and
russet inclusions.

Qing dynasty
Of quadrilobate form, reticulated with four interlaced dragons, the

subtly polished matrix of fairly even white hue throughout.

Qing dynasty
The animal curled with its head looking upwards, the spine and ribs
articulated, with a long tail looped over its hind quarters, the white
stone with russet inclusions.
