China, 19th century. Fine figure, possibly a fairy and an

China, 1750-1850. The figure cast and incised, wearing a heavy A TEMPLE GUARDIAN, MING
coat and a leaf skirt, standing on an associated European Art Deco
facetted onyx base from c. 1920. (2) China, 1368-1644. Heavily cast with a fierce expression, the temple
guardian is wearing a long robe with flowing bands, the hair and
other details finely incised.
Condition: The figure with a single hole drilled in the back, old
wear and traces of use, in good condition, the base with wear and
some chipping. Condition: Good condition with some wear and minor abrasions.
