 BUDDHA, SUKHOTHAI         14TH-15TH CENTURY
 Thailand, 1238-1438. The heavy sandstone with   Java, 14th – 15th century. The deity massively cast seated in
 a complex weathering landscape indicating   padmasana on a double lotus base on a stepped rectangular
 an age of at least 500 years and possibly up   plinth, with four arms holding various attributes, including mala and
 to a millennium, giving this piece an appealing   kamandalu, and one hand showing varada mudra, wearing a dhoti
