                           ‘WEIQI PLAYERS’ BITONG, KANGXI
                     China, Kangxi period (1661-1722). The small bamboo-shaped
                     brush pot is finely incised with a depiction of scholars playing
                     weiqi on one side and three sages on the other. Covered in an
                     appealing emerald-green glaze, with the foot rim and lower part
                     of the interior left unglazed.
