A PALE CELADON JADE VASE, COVER AND STAND
20TH CENTURY
The fattened vase is carved with a panel of ducks in a pond bordered by
scrolling leaves, the sides carved with double chilong handles. The cover is
surmounted with a dragon-shaped fnial, the loose oval stand carved with
stylised ruyi borders. The stone is of an even pale celadon tone.

A PAIR OF SPINACH GREEN JADE ‘PHOENIX-FORM’ VASES
AND COVERS
20TH CENTURY
Each fattened vase is modelled to the lower section as a phoenix, below carved
taotie masks and geometrical lappets at the neck. The sides are carved with
loop handles supporting a central swing bracket handle. The covers are each
surmounted by a phoenix. The stone is of a dark green tone with apple green fecks.
