A WUCAI RECTANGULAR ‘DRAGON’ BOX AND COVER
MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)

The domed cover is decorated with a front-facing dragon amongst cloud and
fre scrolls surrounded by two striding dragons at the sides. The interior is
decorated with a stylised character amongst fre scrolls and another front-
facing dragon.
