                                                           The group comprises: a pair of rectangular zitan

                                                           boxes and covers, carved and pierced with pea

                                                           shoots growing from leafy vines; a pair of zitan

                                                           boxes inset with white jade ruyi-sceptre-form

                                                           plaques, inscribed to the base with the characters

                                                           xue shun tang; and a rectangular zitan box and

                                                           cover carved with fungus.

CARVINGS
20TH CENTURY

The group comprises: a rectangular jichimu scroll-

form stand carved with a calligraphic inscription; a

rectangular hongmu tray carved with a pavilion and

pine tree; and a hardwood box and cover carved to

the top with a dragon chasing a faming pearl.
