A SHE INKSTONE AND HARDWOOD BOX
AND COVER
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The rectangular inkstone is carved to one side with
stylised archaistic dragons and phoenixes and
is incised to the reverse with a poetic inscription
ending Hu Fan. The inkstone is set within a ftted
hardwood box and cover of plain form.

A GROUP OF THREE ZITAN AND
HONGMU CARVINGS
20TH CENTURY
The group comprises: a zitan tray, carved to
the mouth rim with an archaistic scroll and
several peach branches, with a fsh and lingzhi
sprigs to the centre of the interior; a hongmu
tray carved in the form of overlapping leaves;
and a zitan phoenix-form scoop.
