CARVINGS AND AN INKSTONE
20TH CENTURY

The group comprises: an inkstone within a ftted

hardwood box carved with crabs; two zitan scroll-

form stands carved with archaistic dragons; a

zitan lobed box and cover inset with hardstones

depicting ducks and fowers; a zitan box and cover

carved with the sanduo; and a circular zitan box

and cover carved with a chilong amongst waves.

HARDWOOD CARVINGS
20TH CENTURY

The group comprises: a boxwood carving of a

cabbage inscribed to the base with shi bei shan

ren; a bamboo box and cover carved in the form

of a fnger citron; a bamboo box and cover carved

in the form of a bat, with a calligraphic inscription

and signature to the base; and a hardwood box and

cover carved with double gourds.
