A CHINESE TURQUOISE GLAZED RITUAL VESSEL AND COVER
SIX CHARACTER GUANGXU MARK AND OF THE PERIOD
1875-1908
Decorated in relief with quatrefoil and fan-shaped panels enclosing figures
by a river, the scenes reserved on a diaper ground, the cover with a chilong
holding sprigs of lingzhi and incised with the characters zhou lu pi ka yi pan,
with geometric bands encircling the rims, 25.3cm. (2)

The compressed circular body decorated with green and peach-coloured
mottling, the base glazed white and with a six character Kangxi mark in
underglaze blue, 11.6cm.

TWO PAIRS OF CHINESE BEIJING YELLOW GLASS VASES

Two a pair of bottle vases with four character Qianlong marks incised to the
bases, the thick glass of a dark egg-yolk colour, the other pair with ovoid
bodies raised on gently flaring feet and surmounted by waisted necks,
decorated in relief with birds amongst flowering branches, the glass a bright
cheerful yellow, 25.2cm max. (4)
