the other sides painted green and with stylised floral medallions and scrolls,

EMBLEMS’ SPOON
SIX CHARACTER TONGZHI MARK AND OF THE PERIOD 1862-74
Decorated in relief with the endless knot and twin-fish highlighted in gilt, the
images surrounded by flowers and scrolling leaves, with three iron-red bats
encircling the reign mark to the reverse, 14.5cm.

The child depicted resting on his elbows and knees, he lifts his head showing
his laughing face, with his hair tied in two buns, he wears a lavender, green
and pink tunic decorated with a dragon, butterfly and sprays of various fruits
and flowers, 39.5cm.
