           A CHINESE BLANC DE CHINE FIGURE OF BUDDHA

           Depicted seated in dhyanasana with one hand resting upon his lap and
           the other held in shuni mudra, his bare chest centred by a fylfot, with a six
           character Wanli mark and a six character maker’s mark to the reverse, all
           raised on an elaborate lotus base adorned with flowers and beads, 26cm.

           figure also with a Wanli mark dated to the eighteenth century

           robes, her hair piled high in a chignon and adorned with a veil, with her eyes
           downcast and a serene expression on her face, 14cm.
