           CLUSTER OF GRAPES

           QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY

           The bamboo is well carved in the round as a cluster of grapes with
           leafy vines and spiral tendrils.

           A SMALL BAMBOO ROOT TEA POT AND COVER

           QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)

           The bamboo root is carved with slightly tapering sides rising
           to a straight neck, applied on one side with a curved spout and
           the adjacent side with a slightly curved splat handle incised on
           the underside with the inscription ‘Jiezhai zao’. The cover is
           surmounted by a lingzhi-form finial.
