A CARVED ZITAN BRUSH POT

LATE MING DYNASTY, 16TH-17TH CENTURY

The brush pot is carved in relief to depict three figures sitting in
a wooded landscape, while another lotus-holding figure walks
towards the gathering. The mouth is inlaid in silver with a band of
keyfret pattern.
