AN INCISED HUANGHUALI BRUSH POT
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The slightly tapered brush pot is incised in intaglio depicting a
scene of sandbank, in which three geese are feeding and resting
amidst tall stalks of reeds, while another goose descends from
above, inscribed aside with a poem, followed by the signature of
Bian Shoumin and a seal, Shoumin.
