Qing Dynasty
The unusual vessel formed with a Western Zhou style ritual vessel at
the top half, the exterior with cast taotie masks and other archaistic
designs, the rim with rope-twist handles, the interior with a spurious
five-line seal script cast inscription, with Ming-style elephant tripod
feet, with induced patination to the bronze surface. 46cm (18 1/8in)
