          A CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL ZHADOU AND COVER
          QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
          The zhadou and cover is decorated with a wide lotus scroll and an archaistic
          dragon band in blue, all set on a turquoise ground. The zhadou has a separate
          gilt-bronze insert and is decorated on the base with a large chrysanthemum
          bloom with a yin-yang medallion in the center. The cover is surmounted by a
          pale greyish-green jade finial.
