A LARGE CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL TRIPLE-
GOURD VASE
18TH CENTURY
The vase is decorated on the trumpet neck with
upright leaf-lappets and is flanked by two gilt-
bronze dragon handles. The top and center bulbs
are decorated with lotus scroll, and the lower bulb
with four five-clawed dragons amidst lotus scroll,
each chasing a flaming pearl. The base is cast with
an apocryphal four-character Jingtai mark.
