A CARVED AMBER SNUFF BOTTLE
1760-1860
The bottle is carved in the form of a recumbent water buffalo with the legs tucked beneath
the body. A small boy climbs on the buffalo’s back, with one hand grasping a horn and the
other resting on the buffalo’s side.
