Tibet, 17th/18th century
The Buddha of Infinite Life cast seated in dhyanasana wearing
long robes and jewellery at the chest, flanked with flowing ribbons,
the hands in dhyanamudra and cradling an urn, the gently smiling
face crowned with a five-pointed tiara, the face and hair painted in
consecration with gilt, blue and red, the base open. 18cm (7 1/8in)

Seated in lalitasana on a double-lotus throne, holding lotus stems in
each hand, the deity wearing a simple dhoti with embroidered hem,
a five-pointed tiara and beaded jewellery, partially gilded. 11.4cm (4
