Heavily cast, seated in padmasana over a double-lotus throne with
beaded edges, the deity clad in thickly folded robes and bedecked
in elaborate jewellery with a single coral inset, his face downcast in a
serene expression under the five-pointed crown, his hands folded in

19th century
Supported on an octagonal double lotus petal stepped base, rising
to a gallery with upright flame motifs, the domed mid-section with
images of the four directional Buddhas in fitted arched niches, the
conical harmika with bands of swastika motifs, surmounted by a
crescent moon and sun finial with a flaming pearl motif. 48.5cm
(19.1/8in) high.

gathered at his left shoulders and between his legs, his hands
gathered in his lap, the Buddha seated in padmasana above a
rounded base of overlapping upright lotus petals, the base-plate with
