Northern Wei Dynasty (386-535 AD)
Each finely modelled, standing and wearing
full scale armour and a helmet framing the
prominent facial features, the right arm
extended along the body, their left arm holding
the belt above the waist.

TWO PAINTED POTTERY FIGURES OF
STANDING LADIES
Northern Wei Dynasty (386-535 AD)
The female figures each finely modelled with a
slender body clad in high-waisted garments,
the hair arranged in elaborate chignon, with
traces of orange, red and white pigments.
The largest 26.7cm (10 1/2in) high. (2).
