The present lot is a late Qing revival of earlier DEUX PAIRES DE PLATEAUX EN ÉMAUX surrounded by four sinuous chilong and bats
Ming styles. See for example a cinnabar PEINTS amidst curling tendrils, the underside with bats
lacquer rectangular tray with dragons, 16th XVIIIe siècle and ruyi clouds enclosing the base decorated
century, illustrated in Carving the Subtle with finger citrus, 12cm (4 5/8in) wide. (4).
