THREE BRONZE SEATED FIGURES
Late Ming Dynasty
Comprising a gilt and lacquered figure of Guanyin, the Goddess of
Mercy, cast with a serene expression and downcast eyes, elaborately
attired with a long flowing robe and beaded jewellery, crowned by an
ornate headdress, the right knee raised supporting her arm, her left
hand beside the child Sudhana sitting on her left knee, 20.5cm
(8 1/8in) high; and two bronze figures of Zhenwu, each figure cast
seated in military attire, the smaller with traces of gilt-lacquering,
18.5cm (7 1/4in) and 16.2cm (6 3/8in) high. (3).

Ming Dynasty
The deity seated in dhyanasana with the right hand raised, the left
hand holding a flaming pearl, attired in flowing robes with incised
floral hems, open at the chest to reveal pendent jewellery, wearing
an elaborate high five-pointed tiara, seated on a separate two-tiered
lotus-petal stand. 27cm (10 5/8in) high. (2).
