                                                             Ming Dynasty
                                                             The pear-shaped body supported on a tall and slightly spreading foot
                                                             encircled by rope-work, rising to an elegantly flaring rim, carved with
                                                             a relief band enclosing archaistic phoenixes in mutual pursuit of a
                                                             roundel, one side with a loop handle, the stone of pale green tone with
                                                             russet streaks.

                                                             AN ARCHAISTIC PALE GREEN JADE VASE
                                                             Late Ming Dynasty
                                                             The flat pear-shaped vase carved on both sides in low relief with
                                                             two archaistic dragons around a Shou and Fu character respectively
                                                             beneath stylised cicada lappets around the neck, the waisted neck
                                                             with a pair of stylised dragon handles, the stone of even pale green
                                                             tone with some russet inclusions. 15.2cm (6in) high.

                                                             thin walls rising from a slightly tapering foot, the stone of translucent
                                                             pale white tone, 18th/19th century, 5cm (2in) diam.; a pale green jade
                                                             miniature quatrelobed washer, Ming dynasty, raised on four bracket
                                                             feet, the stone of pale green tone with russet inclusions, 6.7cm
                                                             (2 5/8in) wide; and a small white and chestnut-brown jade pouring
                                                             vessel, yi, Ming dynasty, 8cm (3 1/8in) long. (4).
