Ming Dynasty
Finely carved as a lotus leaf borne on a stem
tied with a string on the side to other curled
stems issuing a lotus bud and further leaves
naturalistically rendered with curling edges
and veins, the well-polished stone of pale
green tone with scattered beige veins.
