A LARGE FAHUA TWO-PART TILEWORK ‘DRAGON’
FRIEZE
Ming Dynasty
The powerful frieze depicting a long yellow writhing dragon
amidst leafy foliate scrolls, each part 54cm (21 1/4in) wide,
stands; together with a pair of lead-glazed pottery figures of
tribute bearers, Ming dynasty, the taller 50.3cm (19 3/4in) high.

AN AMBER-GLAZED MODEL OF AN UPRIGHT CABINET
Ming Dynasty
Of rectangular shape, moulded with an elegantly protruding-top
set above two single panelled doors fitted with an ogee three-
part rectangular lock plate, above a pair of drawers and a plain
narrow apron with shaped spandrels.
