GILT BRUSHPOT 《大清道光年製》款
SEAL MARK AND PERIOD OF DAOGUANG
of cylindrical form, brightly enamelled to the exterior with
gilt outlines, depicting stylised shou characters and bats
suspending musical chimes, interspersed amongst lotus
blooms borne on intertwining foliate strapwork, below a ruyi
band at the rim and above overlapping lappets at the foot, all
reserved against a rich turquoise ground, the rim gilt, the base
enamelled in turquoise, save for a rectangular cartouche with a
six-character seal mark in gilt
