Of ovoid form, surmounted by a tubular neck with a flat lip, the ruby-
red overlay used to form the circular foot ring and nine evenly spaced
roundels carved with a dragon and flaming pearl.

A RED OVERLAY MILKY GLASS ‘CARP’ SNUFF BOTTLE
1780-1860
Of flattened globular form, surmounted by a gently waisted neck with
a flat lip, the translucent red overlay carved as a carp and water weeds
on each side, mock lion and ring handles on the shoulders and the
neat oval foot ring.
