A LARGE YING STONE

QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)

Of elongated ovoid form, the towering dark greyish-black limestone
is balanced on a narrow base with a furrow leading up to a central
perforation. The surface is extensively textured with characteristic
rounded dimples.

43rd year of the Meiji reign (1910).
