the standard palette of gilt and pastel colors, all within a dense ground
of additional floral sprigs and One Hundred Antiques motifs (drilled).

A GILT ENAMELED COBALT BLUE PORCELAIN RUYI SCEPTER
19th century
Heavily potted in traditional shape with a curving stave terminating
in a ruyi head, the top surface showing traces of dragon and figural
decorations in gilt, the clear glaze undersides mottled in spots of green
perhaps to resemble metal verdigris.
