Painted with a central lobed octagonal medallion enclosing a with
a scene of birds in flight near rock work and chrysanthemums set
against bracketed diaper borders, surrounded with radiating lappet
panels alternately enclosing fruiting and flowering branches and
precious objects, separated by narrower decorative panels, well
rendered in rich cobalt blue.

AN EXPORT BLUE AND WHITE TUREEN WITH PLATTER
19th century
The first a heavily potted tureen with cover supporting a floriform finial,
the shoulders with two braided handles, the surface decorated with
landscape in underglaze blue all under a clear glaze; the second an
oval well and tree platter with landscape scene painted in underglaze
blue and covered in clear glaze.

The high-shouldered tapered cylindrical vessel decorated with two
dragons on a central field of cloud scrolls and framing jewels over a row
of galloping horses and under a diaper and floral band at the shoulder.

Both of tall rectangular section, the first depicting an immortal
accompanied by a boy acolyte holding peaches and a crane, the
