TWO FINE IVORY BRUSHPOTS, BITONG
16th/17th century
The first carved in relief with a bird and butterflies in a flowering garden
of blossoming prunus, magnolia and lingzhi issuing from rockwork;
the second carved with sinuous chilong encircling the body amongst
jagged, pierced rockwork and lingzhi, wood stands.
13.7cm (5.3/8in) and 12.7cm (5in) high. (4).
