Both with two overlapping panels, the
first woven with bats amongst clouds and
embroidered with floral and figurative designs
at the lower edge, the interior with green
silk lining; the second with a red ground and
rabbit fur edging.

VARIOUS JACKETS
19th-20th century
Comprising: a turquoise and black silk jacket,
embroidered in gilt thread with shou roundels
within swastika motif borders; a gold thread
brocade waisted jacket, richly woven with a
dense design of entwined flowers and foliage;
and a pale turquoise silk lady’s robe, woven
with lotus, blossoming prunus and peonies.
