A LARGE PALE GREEN JADE ‘LOTUS’
EWER AND COVER
19th century
The body deftly carved as a lotus-seed cup,
the handle as a tied sprig of stems issuing
blooming lotus and broad leaves curling
around the body to form the base and spout,
the cover similarly carved as a lotus leaf
surmounted by a crane finial, wood stand.
