A GILT METAL, CORAL AND MALACHITE
INLAID BUCKLE

19th century
Formed of an oval plaque cast in openwork
with a bat amongst fruiting peach stems and
cloud scrolls, linked to an oval ring cast with
archaistic dragons, with pendant interlocking
roundels inset with coral and malachite.
7.3cm (2.7/8in) long.
