SET, WU GONG
19th century
Comprising two beaker vases, two
candlesticks and a tripod incense burner, the
censer with upward-soaring handles, raised
on three cabriole legs with beast-masks at
the knees, all enamelled with cartouches
enclosing figural scenes and floral sprigs, all
reserved on a pink ground.
The candlesticks: 30.5cm (12in) high (5).

Qianlong four-character mark, 19th century
The pear shaped vessel enamelled to the
exterior with foliate cartouches enclosing
Greco-Roman figures, all on a lotus flower
head scrollwork background, flanked with a
loop handle and upturned spout.

The teapot with square panels enclosing
landscape scenes with poetic inscriptions, all
reserved on a floral scrolled background, the
small domed lid with a tall loop handle above;
each cup and cover with cartouches featuring
the Hundred Antiques, reserved on scrolling
floral and foliate grounds.
