A GROUP OF CHINESE EXPORT SILVER VESSELS
Late 19th/ early 20th century
Comprising: a small mug with a bamboo-form handle, decorated
with prunus and a monogram, stamped ‘Tuck Chang’; a two-handled
trophy, flanked with dragon-form handles, the exterior with a further
dragon, engraved base, stamped ‘Luenwo’; a tazza, finely worked with
panels enclosing figural and floral arrangements, with a prunus border,
all raised on a fish-dragon stem and flared foot, stamped ‘TC’ for Tuck
Chang. The largest: 19.5cm (7 5/8in) high (3).

A RECTANGULAR SILVER AND GILT BOX AND COVER
19th century
The lid worked in repoussé with phoenix enclosed in a roundel,
surrounded with floral sprigs, the border with swags, the box sides
with further panels of peony, chrysanthemum, lotus and prunus, with
cell diaper borders.

A CIRCULAR SILVER ‘DRAGON’ BOX AND COVER
Stamped mark for Hung Chong, 19th/20th century
The slightly domed lid with repoussé work with two dragons writhing
amongst scrolling clouds around a central flaming object, the box
sides similarly decorated, the base with the marks ‘HC’ and a Chinese
character.
13.5cm (5 1/4in) diam. (2).
