The bottle is painted with a continuous scene depicting the
military general Jiang Wei kneeling in front of the legendary 出版
statesman Zhuge Liang holding his fan, accompanied by
an attendant carrying a canopy. The base is inscribed with 壺：《Journal of the International Chinese Snuff Bottle Society
a Xianfeng reign mark. Together with a porcelain snuff dish （JICSBS）》，46/2 (2014年春)，10，圖40
