A BRONZE FIGURAL OKIMONO AND
STAND
Meiji Period
The figure standing with right arm
outstretched and a string of rosary beads
held over his left arm, wearing voluminous
robes cast with flower sprays, fastened
with a clasp at the left shoulder suspending
a tasselled pendant over the back, with
bald pate and tightly curled hair, set on a
rockwork base issuing from a tiered stand
raised on four reticulated scrollwork feet.

Including: a Fukurokuju and attendant group;
a netsuke of two musicians; a small netsuke
of a boy leaning against a table and holding
a puppy on a leash, the table with a wooden
barrel on top; a carp and lobster group,
signed Masayuki; and an ivory thumb ring.
