A JAPANESE INLAID METAL VASE AND
AN INDIAN SILVER TEAPOT AND COVER
19th century
The first of tapering form, inlaid with a long
tailed cockerel perched on a cherry blossom
branch; the lobed teapot decorated in
repousse with scenes of figures and a variety
of animals in verdant flowering landscapes,
with elephant finial and cobra-form handle.
